I do travel to Palakkad from Thrissur and back by bus every day. After the ticket is taken, the custom of every regular passenger is to give some time for dozing. Leaned back resting head on the seat back, eyes are closed, all will let their mind to gaze for some time. And, that will take them to some beautiful dreams....................
I, at these transe stage, always think why I go to Palakkad by bus. Why? If I can spent a little more time, say, some two hours, I can travel by train and save a lot of money. At all the moment when I give money to the conductor, again and again I will think about the disparity between the train and the bus traveller. Really Iam spending about Rs. 2500/- per month for my travel by bus. If I change it to train, that will be reduced to around Rs.500/-.
But, even then, I do like the journey by bus.The journey over Kuthiran hills gave me a cronic back pain and the newly formed pits allalong the road continuously distrub my body. But, even then I like the journey through the road to Palakkad......
